Parking:

  • we have a parking lot in the front and also behind the Tea House.  If you park in the back (accessed using the narrow "driveway" on the right hand side of the building), please feel free to enter through the back door (it's pink).

  • please do not park right in front of the front steps - this is a walkway, not a parking space, and it needs to remain accessible.

  • We do not have designated handicap parking.

  • Please do your best not to inadvertently take up two parking spaces with one vehicle, as especially during busy times, all spaces are needed.

  • Please do not leave your vehicle here if you leave the premises after your teatime has ended, as all spaces are needed for patrons arriving after you.  This does not apply if you wish to peruse our shoppe after teatime; you are of course welcome to linger after Tea to shop or take pictures etc.

Accessibility

This building is not wheelchair accessible.  Most of our rooms are small, and one central doorway is very narrow, although someone with a walker can typically fit through it.  Because of space limitations, it is very helpful if any walkers can be folded when not in use.  There are three stairs, a landing, and then one more step to enter the building.  We do not have a ramp.  There are no bars/rails installed in the single occupancy bathroom.

All of our chairs are arm-less, as pictured.  They are made of resin and are designed for commercial use, with an 800 lb. weight capacity.  We use wood-backed vinyl upholstered/padded cushions on them (not pictured).
