How to purchase a physical gift card or send an e-card

You can stop into the shoppe (see our shoppe hours) to buy a physical gift card (we do not mail them) or send one via email to a lucky recipient!  If you're heading over and want to be sure we'll be here, feel free to text to double check: 617.775.9118

Before purchasing, here are some things to consider: 

• Gift cards are not returnable.

• Gift cards are not refundable for cash, except as required by law:  In MA, re-loadable gift cards that have been partially used and have a balance of five dollars ($5.00) or less, are redeemable for cash. 

• Gift cards are not traceable if lost.  Please snap a picture of the back of the card, so we can look up the number, should it be lost. 

• Because gift cards are not returnable, it is a good idea to consider a few things before you purchase (these are actual concerns voiced to us over the years, by people who did not want the gift card they received): 

  • Does the gift recipient like tea or Afternoon Tea or will they at least be interested to try it? 

  • We have a minimum age of 12.

  • Is the recipient a coffee drinker who will be disappointed that we don't serve coffee? 

  • There is typically a wait for a weekend reservation, will this work for the gift recipient?
